See what they say about VASG

I became involved in VASG from inception and find that not only is it an essential part of my ‘kit’ with useful resources and information to glean from – but also for the fantastic friends I’ve made that support each other with no agenda other than to help all VAs succeed.

VASG was introduced to me and I couldn’t live without it. As I am a new VA I have had lots of questions to ask and all the VA’s have answered them and are so friendly. It’s like I have a new family. I have gained some work from this which also gave me the extra confidence I needed. The VASG has also upskilled me in Social Media and my learning development.

Sandy Newell, Virtual Business Sense

I have been involved with VASG for quite some time and have found it to be essential to my business as I have a safe forum to ask questions of my peers, ask for and receive support when I have a problem, gives me access to a staggering amount of expertise and generally enables me to enhance my business and my own professional development. But it also has such a great atmosphere, I can come into the ‘room’ when I can and when I haven’t been able to for a while I am always welcomed back with no judgements made.

Rebekah Harriman, R&R VA Services

I became involved with VASG from when it started and have found it to be invaluable in my business on both a professional and personal level.  On a professional level I have found colleagues who I can share ideas/problems with and also help out VAs with their questions.  I have gained work through the group and have also passed work on through the group.  It has given me the support that you miss when working for yourself.  On a personal note I have made some people who I am proud to call very close friends.

VASG is an essential resource for any VA, whether long-standing or new to the industry.  With a combined wealth of knowledge and experience, there are always fellow VAs around to share your thoughts with, ask for help and advice, to offer support and of course, to support and help in return.  The ethos of ‘collaboration, not competition’ works incredibly well and excellent working relationships have developed as a result.   The VASG has been, and continues to be, a major benefit to my business.

VASG is a vital resource for all professional virtual assistants.  When I need to talk to the VA community this is where I go in the first instance.  I’ve filled vacancies, connected work with VA’s, found new associates and much, much more from this facility.  It is excellent.  I just wish I had time to chat more!

Phillippa Goodwin, The Essential Personal Assistant

VASG provides me with a good and honest sounding board in a trusted environment where everyone genuinely cares about my business as well as their own.  Since joining I’ve learned an incredible amount about best practices and amazing technology in real time.  Above all, the emotional support has been awesome.  Quite simply, without VASG I’d have thrown in the towel a long time ago. VASG rock!

Sarah Bradley,  Help Ahoy

VASG came at exactly the right time for me.  I had just started my business, only had a couple of customers and was deciding whether to continue when Anne-Marie invited me to join.  It has been a complete lifeline to me making contact with like minded ladies who believe in collaboration rather than competition.  I no longer feel alone.  I have gained work from my colleagues as well as opportunities and have enjoyed the support the group has given me from the moment I joined.  I can honestly say, I doubt that I would have still mean a VA without this group, and look forward to it continuing for many, many years to come.  To put it simply VASG Rocks!

Rachel Brett, Arbor Virtual Services

Having been a VA for nearly 6 years now, VASG has been a wonderful find for me. I have learnt so much from my peers; it has really helped me to expand my business.  The whole ethos of the group – collaboration, not competition – means that I feel able to ask for help and to outsource work to me fellow VAs. Everyone is so generous with their help and advice.  When things go wrong, as they do for all of us from time to time, I know that I can turn to VASG and get the support I need to “pick myself up” and get on with things. Dee, Emily and Anne-Marie are to be thanked for having the inspiration to set up VASG.  Long live VASG!

Roz Bott, Virtually Roz

I have been a VA for less than two years and am very happy to say that I realised very early on in my career that there are lots of like-minded VAs out there who feel collaboration and sharing knowledge is the key to success.  There are many forums and groups that VAs can belong to but far and away the one I find the most useful is VASG.  I think of the people I chat to as friends, always there if I have a query, a problem or just want to have a chat because I have been on my own all day.  More than that though I always tell new and potential clients that I work with a large group of associates and if there is something they need that I cannot deliver I am confident I can find someone who can, and with VASG as my back up I know that I am being 100% honest every time I say it.  Thanks VASG for always being there for people like me!
